MORE INFORMATION & DETAILS COMING SOON!
There are many roads leading to our English Jerusalem, 'the holiest erthe in Englande'.
We can approach it by the high-road of history...
Or we can come to Glastonbury by the upland path of legend...
And there is a third way to Glastonbury, one of the secret Green Roads of the Soul - the Mystic Way that leads through the Hidden Door into a land known only to the eye of vision. This is Avalon of the Heart to those who love her.
Glastonbury - Avalon of the Heart by Dion Fortune
We invite you to join us on a mystical journey to these sacred lands and ancient sites of Glastonbury and Cornwall. We will be led on the "secret Green Roads of the Soul" to experience an all encompassing journey into the seen and unseen worlds of the West Country. History, legend and the vision of the heart will come together and reveal the depth of the beauty, power and wisdom of these sacred, potent places.
In turn, we will be forever touched and changed by these encounters with these sacred places as they illuminate and awaken the sacred within each of us.
In Dion Fortune's words, "It is to this Avalon of the heart the pilgrims still go, awaiting what may meet them on this holy ground. None go away as they came."
As pilgrims on a journey, may we touch the beauty of our own souls we experience the Heart of Avalon.
We have one core offering, "Opening to the Heart of Mystical Glastonbury & Avebury" (September 16 to 27th) with an optional offering that can be signed up for as well. They both involve daily walking as our primary means to engage with the landscape, to feel its magic, and to deeply experience the energies and alignments.
The bookend offerings offer you experiences to walk and deeply experience the sacred and ancient landscapes of Glastonbury and/or Cornwall.
Below is an overview of the options with a link to each page with detailed itineraries.

Addendum: 3-Day Pilgrimage of the Glastonbury Zodiac Milky Way Camino
September 14~15~16
3 Days of Walking a mini-Camino
The route mirrors the Milky Way in the heavens, in its relation to the ecliptic path of the zodiac constellations. Discovered in 2000 by Anthony Thorley and Celia Gunn, it serves a similar purpose to the Camino pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, known as Via Lactea in olden times, the great celestial river of stars that the soul was said to travel along between incarnations.
The word Compostela means ‘field of stars’, another reference to the idea of walking the heavens on the earth. Glastonbury’s Milky Way walk shares much in common with the pilgrimage to Santiago, including the fact that it has seven churches along its route, reflecting the seven cathedrals that the pilgrim encounters along El Camino. It serves a similar purpose to the Camino pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, known as Via Lactea in olden times, the great celestial river of stars that the soul was said to travel along between incarnations. Undertaking this pilgrimage will offer you the opportunity to reflect more deeply and to gain a new perspective on your life’s journey. It will help you to appreciate the richly co-creative process that your life is, and will empower you to take more responsibility for your own creative part in it.
We walk with conscious intention and conduct simple rituals at different points along the route. It is a weaving together of the masculine and feminine expression within each of us in harmony with the energy of the land. It also offers us a way of consciously connecting and aligning the seven chakras of the body’s energy system, which we meet in turn at each of the seven sacred sites.
We walk this over three days, with two nights of camping en route, accommodation which we arrange for you with meals provided in the evening. We have a team that will set up the camp each evening and cook the evening meal, so that you wont have to worry about carrying or pitching a tent.

Opening to the Heart of Mystical Glastonbury & Avebury
September 16th - 27th
10 Day Journey in and around Glastonbury, Avebury, West Kennet Long Barrow & Silbury Hill
For ten days, we will explore and experience the myths, magic, stories, landscapes and sites of these mystical places. Guided by our extraordinary local guides, Tor, Peter, Michael, John and Andreea, who have devoted their lives to connecting with and sharing the ancient and sacred energies, myths and legends of these extraordinary places, we will experience the beauty and legends that lie just below the surface. We will connect with the heart of these sacred places as we open our eyes and hearts to the energies that resonate from deep within the landscape.
Based at the Pilgrims B&B in Glastonbury, we will begin our journey with a visit to the Chakra Garden, where we will receive the template and overview of our journey. Over the next 8 days, we will visit the sites of Glastonbury including Wearyall Hill, Magdalene Chapel, Glastonbury Abbey, Chalice Well, and Glastonbury Tor, St. Bride's Mound. For the last two days, we will journey to Avebury to stay at the lovely Dorwyn Manor, just down the road from the great stone circle of Avebury. Here we will spend the day in the stone circle as well as visit West Kennet Long Barrow, Silbury Hill and other local and ancient sites.
We will have time to integrate, wander, explore and return on our own to the special places in Glastonbury that resonate with us. We can also set up opportunities for astrology sessions, intuitive sessions, bodywork or whatever you may be drawn to. Glastonbury is rich with healers, mystics and pilgrims!
We will also visit the labyrinth at St. John's Church, designed by my friend Sig Lonegren. Sig lived in Glastonbury for many years, and is well known for his many contributions to the world of geomancy, dowsing and has spent the last thirty-five years studying ancient tools that enhance intuition. He is the author of "Spiritual Dowsing," "The Pendulum Kit," "Labyrinths: Ancient Myths & Modern Uses," and "The Dowsing Rod Kit." This labyrinth is very close to our B&B, so we can visit it on our own and also with John and Andreea in preparation for our labyrinthine pilgrimage up the Glastonbury Tor. This optional, all day journey is challenging as we curve around and aroundm and up and down the massive tor, yet it promises to be one of the most rewarding and profound experiences of your time in Glastonbury.
We will then go to Cornwall with Michael as our guide for two days, driving down the Michael ley line into the wilds of Dartmoor, where we cross bridges over 4000 years old and wander in the magical Wistman’s Faerie Wood. We will climb Brent Tor, another one of the many, and miraculous tors dedicated to St. Michael on the Michael alignment. From here, we will go to Lydford Gorge, and then to the Hurlers stone circles and Cheesewring, to arrive in Tintagel later in the day where we will settle into our B&B, and find a lovely pub for dinner.
On our second day with Michael, we start our day at the mystically beautiful St Nectan's Glen and waterfall, and possibly Rocky Valley. From here, we will explore Tintagel Castle and Merlins Cave (which is exposed at low tide) to end our day in Penzance at the western end of Cornwall. We will arrive at our lovely new B&B, Rosemerryn in the late afternoon.
We will stay at lovely B&B's during our stay - Pilgrims B&B in Glastonbury, or Dowyn Manor in Avebury. They will provide us with a restful, nourishing place to stay, delicious food and a lovely place to relax. The owners are lovely people who delight in creating a wonderful and inviting place for us to stay and be well taken care of.
